Our Guest, Melody VanSandt

Born in Union City, TN on August 12, 1971. I was raised in Bradford, TN a very small laid-back town just 50 miles north of Jackson. I am the mother of three beautiful boys and one wonderful stepdaughter. After living in TN for most of my life, I decided to take a leap of faith and in 1995 I moved from my home to the great state of Texas. After spending a period of three years there, I then traveled across the "big pond", to Mannheim,
Germany. I worked there for Lockheed Martin in their operations sector. In July of 2000, I decided to make my way back to the states and settled in Huntsville, AL. Mainly, due to my new love, whom I later married. I have been writing poetry and song lyrics for many years. I am
a published poetry writer and songwriter. Currently, I have three demo songs cut through Paramount and Nashville Song Service. Between writing Science Fiction stories, I work full-time as a Financial Manager for Eagle Support Services. I am a current member of the NSAI
(Nashville Songwriters Association International) and The Association of the United States Army Redstone-Huntsville Chapter.
